Chattanooga Incline Railroads

Name Notes
Lookout Incline Railway From St. Elmo station with incline plane of 7/8 of a mile to "the point" of Lookout Mountain, connecting with narrow gauge railroad 2 miles to Natural Bridge. Connecting at foot with street cars and dummy line every fifteen minutes during the day.
Lookout Mountain Railway From St. Elmo 7/8 of a mile to Lookout Inn (top of mountain). Direct connections at St. Elmo with street cars and dummy line.

Passenger Service (Ridgedale Division) From 910 Georgia Avenue to National Cemetery, to Ridgedale, to Fort Cheatham, Battle Field and East Lake.
Passenger Service (East End Division) From 910 Georgia Avenue to Montgomery Avenue, Rossville Road, Ratliff, East End and East Lake.
Passenger Service (Lookout Mountain Division) From 910 Georgia Avenue to Montgomery Avenue,, Rossville Road, Oak Hill Junction, Forest Hill Cemetery, St. Elmo, connecting with Lookout Mountain Incline at Cemetery gate, Lookout Mountain junction with Chattanooga and Lookout Mountain R. R. Co., Broad Gauge and Chattanooga Southern Ry.
Passenger Service (Orchard Knob Division) From 910 Georgia Avenue to National Cemetery, McCallie Avenue, Churchville, to Sherman Heights, East Chattanooga and Boyce.
Freight Service Length of line 50 miles. Encircles the city, beginning at foot of Market Street, thence with river, passing saw mills, furniture factories and other works along the river front; crosses Chattanooga Creek south of the city near the South Tredegar Iron Works, thence around the city, terminating t Moon Street on the east.

Main Line-From the Tennessee River south on Market to Cowart, south to limit. Distance 2 miles.
East Ninth Street Line-From the river south on Market to Ninth, east to East End Avenue, south to Montgomery Avenue and national Cemetery. Distance 2 miles.
Montgomery Avenue Line-From Ninth and Market to Montgomery Avenue, east on Montgomery Avenue to East End Avenue.
Carter Street Line-From the river to Ninth, west to Carter, south to White, east to Whiteside, thence to St. Elmo and Mountain Junction.
Highland Park Line-From Ninth and Broad, north to Seventh, east to Georgia Avenue, north to Oak, east to East End Avenue, south to McCallie Avenue, through Highland Park to top of Mission Ridge, thence along crest of ridge to Chickamauga National Park.
Ridgedale Line-From Ninth and Broad, north to Seventh, east to Georgia Avenue, north to Oak, east to East End Avenue, south to Fort Cheatham.
Lookout Mountain Line-From Seventh and Broad, south to Ninth, west to Chestnut, south to Boyce, south to White, east to Whiteside, thence to St. Elmo and Mountain Junction.
